Two Hyenas and one Leopard found dead in Gurugram

Two Hyenas and a young leopard died under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday in a village in the Sohna block of Gurugram which is adjacent to the delhi. The bodies of the animals were first identified by villagers of Nangli village in Haryana. Both Police Department Officers and forest department officers were immediately alerted. The bodies were sent for autopsy. “The bodies of two hyenas and leopard were recovered on Tuesday morning. They appear to be four days old. However, the real cause of death will be determined only after an autopsy,” M.S. Malik, Principal Chief Conservative Officer, Forest Department.

According to a preliminary investigation, the animals ate some poisonous material as there were no signs of injuries on the animal’s body, a forest official said. Police received information from the villagers. “As soon as we received the information we reached there along with the forest officials. They took the carcasses of the animals and sent them for autopsy for further investigation. However, there were no signs of injuries on their bodies. Further investigation is underway,” said Arvind Kumar, Station House Officer (SHO).
